Three universities in Georgia have ranked among the top 100,
and two of those schools are right here in Atlanta!
Georgia Tech and Emory University rank #25 and #58 based on
the number of patents granted in 2014, with the University of Georgia coming in
at #73. The reasons for patents granted include candidate HIV treatment, two
poultry vaccines, a method for neutralizing munitions residue and covering
antimicrobial coatings.
