Lockheed Martin Employees Named Black Engineers of the Year


Four Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] employees here will be honored with 2015 Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) at the annual BEYA Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) conference, Feb. 5-7, 2015 in Washington, D.C. The awards are divided into two categories: the Modern-Day Technology Leader award, given to those who are shaping the future of engineering, science, and technology; and the Spectrum Trailblazer award, given to employees actively creating new paths for others in science, research, technology and development.
 
The honorees for Modern-Day Technology Leader are Vanessa Bull, Regulatory Compliance Manager, and Carlos Edwards, Industrial Engineering Manager.  The honorees for Science Spectrum Trailblazer are Hamilton Holmes, Community Relations Manager, and Britney Smith, Operations Engineer.
