Ramano’s Macaroni Grill, a nationwide Italian restaurant
with four metro-Atlanta locations, rolled out its new menu of $5 items earlier
this month. The mouth-watering menu includes bruschetta crostini, crispy
artichoke potato cakes, spicy ricotta meatballs, goat cheese peppadew peppers,
mac & cheese bites with truffle dip and homemade chocolate cake.
This week (through Sept. 22) is National Dine Out Week, and
the restaurant is hoping that the lower-price-point items will entice patrons
to dine in, where they will also have the opportunity to donate $2 to Dine Out
for No Kid Hungry, a national program that brings together thousands of
restaurants to ensure that no child in America grows up hungry. When patrons
donate $2 to their Macaroni Grill check, they help connect kids with up to 20
meals (and also receive $5 off of their next purchase at the restaurant).
The restaurant’s goal is to raise enough funding and
awareness throughout September to provide 1 million meals for No Kid Hungry.
Here are three simple ways that you can help meet that goal:
- Donate
$2 to No Kid Hungry in September and receive $5 off your next Macaroni
Grill visit.
- Share
one of the photos from the Mac Grill Give Facebook Gallery on your
personal Facebook page by visiting https://www.facebook.com/RomanosMacaroniGrill/app_101106106709591.
For every picture shared, the company will donate one meal.
- Tag a
tweet or Instagram photo of your favorite Macaroni Grill experience
with #macgrillgive. For every
#macgrillgive hashtag, Macaroni Grill will help No Kid Hungry connect a
kid to a meal.
