2012 Taste Of Kennesaw

Look no further for a fall activity than the upcoming 2012 Taste of Kennessaw. On Saturday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., downtown Kennesaw, including Main Street and the Deport Parking lot, will be filled with delicious treats and fun activities. As a free admission event, this occasion will include displays from more than 40 local restaurants from the Kennesaw and Cobb County area, attracting more than 25,000 people. There will be excellent music, food samples ranging from $1-$4 and abundant fellowship. The Kennesaw Business Association and the City of Kennesaw host this great event, which also benefits four local charities including Shop with a Mustang (Kennesaw Mountain High School), Shop with a Warrior (North Cobb High School), MUST Ministries and Jerry Worthan Community Christmas Fund. There are two entertainment stages: Main Street Stage with all the best local dance groups and school choruses and Depot State with acoustic music featuring Scott Thompson from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Banks and Shane from 6-8 p.m. There will also be various children’s activity, including a Quad Bungee, Rockwall, Inflatable slides, bounces, a trackless train and much more.
