Rugged Maniac is back again!
The Georgia International Horse Park is hosting the famous
obstacle race with 25 insane obstacles Sunday, Aug. 22. All you have to do is register for the race,
and this gets you the opportunity to race the 3-mile course. Throughout the
journey, you will climb towers of shipping containers, travel down a huge water
slide, jump over fire, crawl your way through underground tunnels and get the
chance to experience some new obstacles! Dare I say…trampolines?
After you’re done, you can enjoy some down time with many of
the other maniacs participating in the festival. You can ride mechanical bulls,
channel your inner child in the adult bounce houses, get your groove on and
partake in new games and activities! Grab a couple of friends or family and
come have some fun!
It cost $89 (plus tax) to register through Aug. 18. On the
day of the event, it’s $100. If you volunteer for an event, you can run for
free!
Parking is $10 per car. Students and military get $10 off.
Spectators are completely free!
