A partial list of performers for this year’s Music Midtown has recently been released. The popular fall festival, which will be held from Sept. 19-20 at Piedmont Park, will feature a wide selection of artists. This large, annual celebration returned to Atlanta in 2011 after a six-year hiatus. Since then, it has continued to attract fans and music lovers from across the nation.
Headliners will include Eminem, the Zach Brown Band, John Mayer and Jack White. Artists such as Lorde, Lana del Rey, Iggy Azalea, Gregg Allman and Run-DMC will also make an appearance. The names of more performers will be announced closer to the date.
Organizers of the event have declared it their mission to build upon past successes, making the 2014 version of the festival the best one yet. Whether or not they will achieve this goal remains to be decided. Either way, this star-studded line-up is sure to excite.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday at musicmidtown.com and livenation.com. Tickets start at $125 for a two-day pass.
