Brasfield and Gorrie's Atlanta Office Leads Phase II of The Banks Development Project


Brasfield and Gorrie recently broke ground on Phase II of The Banks development in Cincinnati, Ohio. A master-planned, mixed-use development, The Banks is located on the banks of the Ohio River between Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium. Brasfield & Gorrie’s Atlanta office will serve as general contractor for this phase of the project, which will include 291 apartments and 19,000 square feet of retail space, as well as 200,000 square feet of garage and podium space. They will be teaming with master developer Carter and architect The Preston Partnership in the effort to complete this phase by the first quarter of 2016. Back in 2011, Brasfield & Gorrie completed the first phase of the project, Current at the Banks. After all phases have reached their completion, The Banks will harbor roughly 2.8 million square feet of new mixed-use construction, consisting of up to 1 million square feet of office space, 1,800 housing units, 200 hotel rooms, 300,000 square feet of retail space and a 45-acre park.

Brasfield & Gorrie, which reported $2.3 billion in revenues in 2013, ranked 22nd among the nation's "Top 400 Contractors" for 2014 according to Engineering News-Record.
