Applications
are open now through July 11 for the Juried Artists Market, Business and Civic
Expo, and food vendors for the 29th Sandy Springs Festival, a two-day event to
be held September 20 and 21, 2014. Including a variety of family-friendly activities,
from a 10K and 5K run to a pet parade, this annual celebration serves as the
main fundraiser for Heritage Sandy Springs, a nonprofit organization with a
strong, community-building mission.
All
interested parties are encouraged to apply for the chance to be a part of an award-winning
festival that draws attention to the city’s vibrant cultural history and attracts
as many as 300,000 attendees. Vendor fees start at $300 for food vendors and
businesses, $250 for artists (visual artists in all mediums are welcomed), and
$200 for nonprofit organizations. To learn more about the event or to download
