Jobs and Georgia's economy are expected to grow faster this year, as unemployment will dip slowly throughout 2014. The state's economy will add about 74,200 jobs according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, with the majority of them in the metro Atlanta area. UGA's Charles Knapp reported that the recovery will be steady, but faster than 2013.
Knapp put an emphasis on strengthening the education of Georgia's students, stating that in a flat economy (meaning that all the nations are competing with each other) education and skills will drive productivity and innovation.
