Recently, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta ranked among the nation’s top technology innovators in the InformationWeek’s 2013-14 edition of “The InformationWeek 500.” The report identifies the nation’s most innovative users of information technology, especially focusing on the use of data analytics, mobile technology, social networking and other customer-focused technologies.
Children’s is one of only seven pediatric hospital systems to appear on the list and one of nine hospitals in Georgia to make the list. Children’s is recognized alongside well-known and respected companies, including Xerox, Toyota and Verizon.
In addition, Children's was also recognized as a top company paving the way for working mothers and families everywhere. Working Mother magazine announced Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a 2013 Working Mother 100 Best Company. Children’s was named to the list due to a variety of positive program offerings, such as flextime hours, telecommuting, paid maternity leave and employee assistance programs. The magazine specifically mentioned Children’s many female executives across all three hospital locations, their health and fitness programs for employee families and benefits for part-time employees.
