As of today at noon, Atlantans can see the city like never before with the
grand opening of the SkyView Ferris wheel in downtown.
The 20-story attraction next to The Tabernacle on Centennial
Olympic Park Drive originally planned to open during the July 4 holiday
weekend, but was delayed due to inclement weather and the discovery of a
Georgia Power Co. duct bank.
Ticket prices to rise above the city are $14.45 for adults and
$9.10 for children. Riders will go around four times on about a 15 minute ride.
The attraction will be open most days 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with an extra hour on Saturday
nights.
