Rick Case Bikes For Kids Donates Bikes to Children in Need

Underprivileged children in the Atlanta area may be hoping to find a bike under their tree on Christmas morning, but their families may not have the resources to make their wish a reality.

Fortunately for those families, the Rick Case Bikes for Kids program  is now accepting donations for the 2012 holiday season. The Rick Case Bikes for Kids program has been providing bikes to needy children in the community since 1982, when it was created by Rita and Rick Case of the Rick Case Automotive Group. The charity is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year.

“This program is a way to put smiles on thousands of children’s faces,” said Rick Case, who reports that to date, more than 100,000 bikes have been donated in Atlanta, South Florida and Cleveland since the program’s founding. “Our community really comes together to make sure the children in the area can have the best holiday season possible.”

This year's goal is to collect 10,000 bikes.

Once collected, the bikes are distributed through local Boys & Girls Clubs and other charity organizations. Bikes in good condition will be collected now through December 20th at the following Rick Case Atlanta area locations:

The Rick Case Bikes for Kids program is an easy way to do good for your community. Donate your new or used bikes and make a child smile this holiday season.
