On November 5-6, come celebrate the city as Chastain Park in Buckhead will hold its third annual fine arts festival. And the best part is, it is free to attend!
Hosted by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, this festival is a great opportunity to come out and see works of art from 200 artists and artisans. This is a two-day event which will showcase their artwork, and will also have an arts and crafts section, a children's area with inflatables to entertain the young ones, and local food and beverage concessions, including the "gourmet" food trucks.
Bring the entire family! Along with the art, there will be live, local acoustic musicians to enliven the atmosphere. The event will benefit Livable Buckhead, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and maintaining greenspace and a sustainable community in Buckhead (www.livablebuckhead.org). The festival also benefits the local artist scholarship fund administered by the Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces.
