Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport released six simple tips to make traveling during the busy summer months convenient and easy. Passengers should use the following tips to make traveling enjoyable during the “100 Days of Summer.”
Arrive Early: For domestic flights, arrive 90 minutes prior to your flight, and for international flights, arrive two hours early. Also, check security lines at www.atlanta-airport.com to avoid unforeseen problems.
Save Time By Parking at the Airport: Hartsfield-Jackson offers 30,000 on-site parking spaces open 24/7. The 40 express-pay stations make leaving the airport even faster.
Use the New Rental Car Center: A quick five-minute ride on the ATL SkyTrain will take you to the new state-of-the-art rental car center.
Be Prepared: Make sure to abide by the security restrictions. Keep all liquids under three ounces, avoid wearing metal and wear shoes that are easy to remove if possible.
Shop, Dine & Explore: With more than 100 dining options and 80 new stores, there is plenty to do while waiting on a departing flight. With extra time, shop one of the many Georgia-themed stores or enjoy a last minute meal.
Relax: Hartsfield-Jackson is equipped with XpresSpa, a full-service spa, and Minute Suites, private rooms where travelers can relax or get some work done. And don’t forget to check out the more than 250 pieces of artwork located throughout the airport.
