On Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m., the High Museum of Art will present “John Portman: A Life of Building” by producer and Emmy-award winning director Ben Loeterman. The new documentary covers the life and globally recognized work of John Portman, an artist and architect from Atlanta.
The screening will be held in the Richard H. Rich Theater in the Memorial Arts Building and will be followed by a panel discussion and reception. The panel includes Ben Loeterman, Mickey Steinberg, Portman’s advisor, and Mack Scogin, an architect from the Atlanta area. Due to limited seating, reservations must made in advance, and guests are limited to reserving two tickets maximum.
